Alt-Steak is truly an alternative steak as it is made with plant-based products and was created specifically to replicate the texture, flavor and appearance of beef steak. While the product is said to bears similar qualities to traditional beef steak, it can be produced in a much more cost-effective and environmentally friendly manner.

Notably, the alternative steak is also high in protein, free from cholesterol and capable of being cooked just like beef.

Alt-Steak is the result of collaboration with butchers, chefs, food technologists and taste experts, as 70 sensorial parameters from juiciness and fat distribution to mouthfeel were refined.
