Pizza Hut is determined to serve up a sense of “newstalgia” with its augmented reality pizza packaging box, which shares a PAC-MAN game and gives fans the chance to win a custom PAC-MAN game cabinet.

The augmented reality pizza box is a limited-edition design that recalls a time when people used to play arcade games while waiting for their slices to be served hot.

The augmented reality pizza box offers a reinvigorated take on this nostalgic experience, as pizza lovers can play a game directly on the box using their smartphone.

To promote the launch of the limited-edition pizza packaging with the PizzaHutARcade, the brand is teaming up with actor, comedian and spokesperson Craig Robinson, who will be the face of the campaign for the rest of the year.
