The ‘Mini Pupper’ Robotic Dog Kit is Open-Source

The ‘Mini Pupper’ robotic dog kit is a miniature take on larger, more expensive alternatives on the market that is focused on providing makers and students alike with a way to incorporate the technology into their collection.

The robot from the Hong Kong-based startup MangDang features an open-source software that runs on the integrated Rapberry Pi 4B microprocessor that is also compatible for use with the Ubuntu and ROS operating systems.

The unit can even be equipped with third-party components like a LiDAR module to allow for a professional-grade experience that doesn’t come with the high price tag.

The ‘Mini Pupper’ robotic dog kit is built with an 800mAh battery pack that will offer 25-minutes of use per 30-minute charge.
