Hyundai subsidiary Genesis has unveiled a new all-electric version of the GV70 SUV. The SUV will be equipped with the brand’s new EV tech, which includes a 400V/800V multi-rapid charging system that allows the car to charge on either a 400V or 800V charging infrastructure without needing a converter.
In terms of power, the electrified GV70 can take its drivers from 0-60 in 4.5 seconds. In addition, the vehicle boasts a rapid charging feature that can take the car’s battery from 10% to 80% in as little as 20 minutes. Other upgraded features include an all-wheel-drive system, a suspension system, and ANC-R for reducing cabin noise.
Aside from a few efficiency-focused aerodynamic enhancements, the car’s exterior remains near identical to the gas-powered GV70.
