Lifestraw Releases An Updated Version of Its Personal Water Filter

LifeStraw, a company specializing in producing safe drinking innovations, has released a new version of its popular Personal Water Filter Straw — its first design update in 17 years.

For those unfamiliar, the Personal Water Filter Straw is a one-of-a-kind filtration device that cleans water as users drink.

According to the company, the updated Personal Water Filter Straw arrives with improved versatility, sustainability, and usability. In addition, it comes with an improved grip, an enhanced flow rate, a built-in gravity hose attachment, and universal threading, which allows users to attach it to any squeeze bottle. Moreover, the device has an upgraded microfilter that protects users from 99.9% of bacteria and 99.9% of silt, sand, and microplastics.

Like the previous model, the updated Personal Water Filter does not require batteries or additional power supplies, and each filter can be used for up to 4,000 liters of water.
