GEEKOM Launched the ‘Mini IT8’ PC with an Intel i5 and Expandable Storage

GEEKOM recently launched the ‘Mini IT8’ compact desktop PC. Since its launch earlier this year, the Mini IT8 has grown to become one of the best-selling mini PCs on Amazon, making the top 5 list in the category, as well as amassing thousands of daily visits on GEEKOM’s U.S and regional websites.

The GEEKOM Mini IT8 boasts an Intel i5 8279U from Intel’s Cofee Lake architecture based on the 300-series chipset.

The compact computer features 8GB of dual-channel DDR4 RAM, expandable up to 32GB, and 256 GB of storage on an M.2 SSD, which can be easily expanded up to 2TB.

The device is sold with Windows 11 Pro pre-installed, but it is fully customizable, meaning users can install their choice of LINUX operating system if they prefer.

In terms of its interface options, the Mini IT8 features three USB-3 ports, two USB-4 ports, a gigabit ethernet port, an HDMI port, a 3.5mm audio jack, a Mini Display Port, an SD Card slot, and a charging port.

The Mini IT8 is only a few square inches, meaning it takes up virtually no desk space and can easily be connected to a TV or other external display.

The device consumes nearly no power when compared to a full-size PC, and is ultra-affordable at an MSRP of USD 499.00 with tax included. Additionally, the device is frequently on sale, as its current price is $439.00.
