JAIC Begins Construction of 2.3MW Solar Plant in Ibaraki

Japan Asia Investment Co Ltd (JAIC) has started to build a mega (large-scale) solar power plant in Tsukubamirai City, Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan.

The total output of solar panels to be installed at the plant will be 2.3MW, and the plant will transmit 1.99MW of electricity to a power grid. It is a joint project with Smart Solar Corp.

Yondenko Corp provides EPC (engineering, procurement and construction) services for the plant. The solar panel and PV inverter employed for the plant are products of Yingli Green Energy Holding Co Ltd and Switzerland-based ABB, respectively.
