The ‘Break The Grid’ Robots

The conceptual ‘Break The Grid’ robots have been designed by GXN Innovation to provide a potential glimpse into the future of how infrastructure repair needs could be met in a constantly changing world.

The robots are outfitted with 3D printer technology that could be used on the land, in the sea and in the sky to make repairs to manmade structures or even natural world to counteract our effects on the environment. The road robots could repair cracks and potholes, while the underwater ones could create artificial reefs for marine life and the flying ones could perform building maintenance.

The conceptual ‘Break The Grid’ robots might appear futuristic, but could become a reality sooner rather than later as cities and communities require a more effective way to perform essential maintenance.
