The straps are made with Piñatex, which is a natural leather alternative made using cellulose fibers that have been extracted from pineapple leaves to eliminate the need for any synthetic or animal-sourced components.
The use of Piñatex makes use of the waste product created by agriculture business, which sees roughly 13 million tonnes of leaves being discarded after harvesting to put a focus on sustainable design.
