Dyson Patents Headphones That Double as an Air Purifier
British technology company Dyson recently filed a patent for wearable air purifier headphones to join its extensive collection of air purifiers.
The patent features air filters built directly into the earcups joined by a second headband that can be folded into a face mask to blow purified air into your fair airways.
According to the patent, the wearable headphone purifiers include a propeller that spins at 12,000 rpm and draws in 1.4 liters of air every second. The device is able to filter out irritants including dust and bacteria to provide wearers will clean breathing air.
In the wake of recent global epidemics and the pollution crisis, this wearable purifier is a logical step for the company.
